Juneau-Douglas City Museum

114 W 4th St, Juneau AK 99801
4:30 – 7:00 PM

The JD City Museum welcomes local artist Gordon Harrison with his exhibition of traditional pen and ink calligraphy pieces and lettering on ceramics. This artwork chronicles his efforts in the art of calligraphy over the past decade, and includes a variety of illustrative techniques, including pen and ink, wood block prints, photographs, handmade stamps, and screen-printing. Harrison cites the joy he finds in studying calligraphy and making pottery as the unifying theme of his exhibit, and he will be available during the opening to chat about his work and process. Stop by to say hi! In honor of Walter Soboleff Day (November 14), admission to the City Museum is free during the month of November!

Exhibit up through November.
