Roblin Davis

Roblin Gray Davis is a lifelong Alaskan performer, director and teaching artist based in Juneau. He has enjoyed working with Perseverance Theater, Theater Alaska, Juneau Ghost Light Theater, KTOO, CrossSound, Inc. the Juneau Symphony, and was a founder of Strange Attractor. As a teaching artist, Roblin spent over 30 years sharing the joy of theater through the Alaska State Council on the Arts, the Juneau School District, the Sitka Fine Arts Camp, Tears of Joy Puppet Theatre, and the Princeton Mime Co. Roblin was one of the first Alaska State Council on the Arts Connie Boochever Artist Fellows and is the recipient of several Rasmusson Grants for work on original, devised performances.

Roblin holds an M.F.A. in Actor Created Theatre from Naropa University & the London International School of Performing Arts, a certificate from the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre, and a B.A. from Fairhaven College.

The JAHC has been critical in developing Roblin’s career as a local, independent artist and has received numerous project grants and artist residencies. He is eternally indebted to the Council.
