Facility Rental Rates Update

Dear Centennial Hall and Juneau Arts and Culture Center Rental Client,

This letter is to inform you that as of September, 2024 we will be raising our rates to keep up with inflation and the rising costs of labor.  We are committed to offering our staff a livable wage, covering costs of equipment upkeep, while still providing stellar service to our clients.  As Centennial Hall is a city-owned facility, this decision was made in collaboration with CBJ officials and will be effective based on the following timeline:

  • All clients who have already signed a contract and put down a deposit will be held at the original rates.
  • Any new reservation requests that can be accommodated will be contracted at the new 25% increased rate.
  • September - December 2024:  All clients who have already reserved events with us that fall within this timeframe and are just waiting for a contract will be held at the original rates.
  • January - June 2025: All clients who have already reserved events with us that fall within this timeframe and are waiting for a contract will only see at 10% increase.
  • July 2025 on: All events will be contracted at the new increased rates.

Our current pricing model, Base+,  includes much of our equipment and some of our services, and that will remain the same.  For the discrete list of equipment and services that we do add additional charges for we have made some price increases and changes to better take into account our new technology in the ballrooms at Centennial Hall, as well as taking into account cost and labor for certain types of equipment and activities.  An update of our pricing lists will be going live on our website in mid-September.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
