James Heumann

JAHC board member James (Jim) Heumann is a painter and printmaker and an active member
of the Juneau visual arts community. Jim moved to Juneau in the 1970s, worked as a craftsman
and civil engineer, and is now retired. Jim currently devotes his time to his family and art
activities. He has been a JAHC board member for five years, is a member of the Juneau
Waysgoose printmaking group, a co-coordinator of the seasonal Drawing at the Alaska State
Museum program, and presents an annual printmaking workshop each January. Jim is proud
supporter of the JAHC’s mission of promoting and facilitating art activities for all members of
our community.
