Announcing the 2024 Wearable Art Extravaganza

Save the Dates for September 21 and 22, 2024 for “Neon Apocalypse!”

JUNEAU, ALASKA (May 10, 2024) — The Juneau Arts and Humanities Council (JAHC) is excited to announce the 2024 Wearable Art Extravaganza “Neon Apocalypse” will be held at Centennial Hall on September 21 and 22, 2024.

The biennial production is a celebration of creativity and is the largest fundraiser for the JAHC. Proceeds raised are used to fund fine arts scholarships, individual artists grants, and support operations at the Juneau Arts and Culture Center to help keep it affordable for the community.

Wearable Art Extravaganza will include a runway show and curated silent auction. The JAHC is currently accepting artist applications through Friday, May 17, 2024. The 2024 theme is “Neon Apocalypse” however artists are not required to design a piece that fits the theme.

Pre-sale tickets to attend the 2024 Wearable Art Extravaganza will go on sale to JAHC members on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Tickets will be available to the general public to purchase on July 14, 2024. Patrons are encouraged to renew or purchase JAHC memberships online at www.jahc.org/join-jahc or call (907) 586-2787.
