Help us get the canoe sculpture installed on the waterfront!

Help us raise the funds needed to install the beautiful “Yaadachóon” canoe by Robert K. Mills  on the waterfront. We’ve started a GoFundMe to pay for the site preparations, cement, landscaping, and lighting.

You can GIVE HERE and be part of this wonderful addition to our community.

Robert created this, with Brian Crapo, as part of the Juneau CARES ArtWorks this past winter. The canoe is currently in Centennial Hall but needs to move in time for events scheduled in the Hall. This piece is extraordinary, and took us all by surprise, which is why there is not currently available funds to mount it along the seawalk. Your help is needed!
