Artist Statement: “I have lived and worked on the water throughout Southeast Alaska. I am constantly in awe, humbled and entertained by her changing moods determined by the tide and the weather. It’s a constantly changing landscape that is both dynamic and either inviting or challenging. I work to capture the feeling my interactions emote in watercolor, acrylic, and oil. Working on the water throughout Southeast Alaska puts me in the landscape in all of its seasons. It changes constantly. A moment in time. A memory captured.”
