About the Program: 

The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council (JAHC) and Central Council Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska (CCTHITA) are excited to announce the Wooch.eén Yéi Jintuné Series: We Are Working Together – a new Juneau artist residency series. These residences will feature Alaska Native teaching artists in multiple art mediums, and will be offered to the community at no cost. Registration is necessary.

About the Artist:
Robert Mills is a Tlingit artist of the Tsaagweidi clan, he calls the village of Kake his home. Robert celebrates ancient Tlingit traditions and builds upon them. He deeply believes in the grounding power of Tlingit thought and culture. Robert’s art: decorative, functional and testimonial, is always grounded in this truth, this earth, this Tlingit aani.
